A jCert Enterprise Developers works with business analysts, application architects, application
assemblers, and administrators to develop distributed enterprise software components that model an organization's
practices, processes and concepts. Enterprise Developers take responsibility for deploying software in the distributed
computing environment typical of large corporations. These complex environments require developers to integrate
numerous systems and enterprise-wide applications by providing mission-critical services that are highly scalable,
highly available, highly secure, transactional and distributed.
Four exams are required for jCert Enterprise Developer certification: three core exams and one elective vendor
exam. Candidates are required to pass all three core exams including Java Programmer, Object-Oriented Analysis
and Design with UML, and Enterprise Connectivity with Java. After fulfilling the three core exam requirements for
Enterprise Developer certification, candidates should determine which vendor-specific exam best matches their job
needs. |
